Hello! I'm Nathan, and I've started a new hosting operation that aims to offer reliable hosting for $5. I have over a decade of experience in web hosting. I live in Massachusetts and have a cat. I'm in the middle of renovating a room and have consumed and ungodly amount of drywall dust. I mostly live off coffee.

It starts with Enhance ✨

Tachi uses the Enhance control panel to make web hosting easy. Each website is isolated for enhanced protection against malware outbreaks. This isolated environment also allows cool features like dedicated Redis instances for each site. Not a lot of hosts out there offering managed hosting with Redis for $5.

What's Redis?

Redis is a database cache that runs in RAM. Sites with heavy database lookups can take advantage of Redis to speed up requests. Smaller sites won't see much of an advantage with Redis, but larger ones can. Tachi is unique in that it offers Redis with shared hosting. Each Redis instance is dedicated to the site and fully configurable.

Backups are a critical part of the core web hosting experience. We don't leave this important bit up to the customer or charge extra for some backup solution that should be included for free. Tachi takes frequent automatic backups that can be downloaded or restored from at any time. Plus, we keep backups of our backups stored off-site with Backblaze. That's two sets of backups for extra peace of mind.
